Timeline
Seven years, one flight path.
Founded on a beach
Inês and Tomás map Cabo Espichel with a spreadsheet, a phone and a borrowed Phantom 4. The spreadsheet loses.
Grid planner beta
900 pilots join the beta in six weeks. Overlap and altitude are calculated for them for the first time.
Stitching on the phone
On-device orthomosaics arrive. Survey crews stop waiting for the office to process a single map.
Jovelin for teams
Shared mission libraries, roles and cloud 3D. Survey firms in 38 countries move their crews over.
Jovelin 4.2
Offline-first everything, terrain follow and 120K pilots flying every week.
What we believe
Four rules we fly by.
01
Field first
If it doesn’t work with gloves on, in glare, at the edge of signal, it doesn’t ship.
02
Measure twice
Every number in the app can be traced to a sensor, a model or a survey mark.
03
Open by default
Your data leaves in open formats, whenever you want, with no export fees.
04
Safety is a feature
Airspace, wind and battery checks are on by default and never hidden behind a plan.
The crew
Every one of us holds a pilot licence.
Engineers, designers and surveyors who still fly on weekends.

We still test every release from 120 m up.
Every Friday the whole team flies the release candidate over the same forest in Sintra. Same route, same light, new build.
Join the crew.
We’re hiring pilots, iOS engineers and photogrammetry specialists in Lisbon and remote across the EU.
